The winner of The Voice Season 15 was announced Tuesday night (Dec. 18), and while it's always suspenseful to see who's going to take the big prize, viewers of the NBC reality show pretty much knew it was most likely going to be a country artist. After all, three of the four finalists made their marks on the season belting out country songs, and two of them were coached by the show's resident country king, Blake Shelton.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the Liberty Baptist Church in Stringer. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Liberty Baptist Church and the burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Alan McCord, Brother Tony Johnson and Brother William Lightsey will officiate. 

John Michael Montgomery was involved in a serious bus crash on Friday (Sept. 9) that left three people injured. The country singer was on his way to a concert in North Carolina when the accident occurred. Montgomery says he'll need several weeks to recover. WATE-TV in Campbell County, Tenn., shares that the country singer's bus was traveling south along I-75 near Jellico, Tenn., when it veered off the road and hit an embankment and overturned.

A Severe T’Storm WARNING is in effect for Scott County until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Storms are capable of producing hail up to 2″ in diameter. This storm is producing golf ball sized hail and is moving NE at about 50 mph. It will be a close call for Davenport and Bettendorf. As of now, the worst of the hail looks to stay just North of downtown Davenport and Bettendorf. But areas in Central and Northern Davenport are at risk of large hail.
